Whether or not to be considered liable for injury?

Several factors need to be taken into account to determine if there may be liability, but in general, a property owner will be liable when the victim can prove:
1. The property owner caused the unsafe condition and the resulting slip and fall accident, i.e., by not cleaning up a spill, not marking it with a “caution” sign.
2. The property owner was aware of the unsafe condition but failed to take action to correct the unsafe condition.
3. The property owner knew or should have known about the danger, because a “reasonable person” would have known about the danger and taken corrective action to prevent the injury that resulted.

How to select the best personal injury lawyer for your situation?

First, you should narrow your choices down to four or five lawyers you will contact directly. The best way to find lawyers is to search it from reputable lawyers’ association webpage. This will increase your chances of getting better service. At the meantime, the lawyer’s office should be near the accident place, if you are the injured party.
Searching a lawyer’s name to see if any testimonials about him on local business website, not only their own website. Searching for lawyer’s industry events and local news website to see if any useful news has been published about cases a lawyer has handled.
